The crypto community celebrates BitcoinPizzaDay
Eight years ago, on May 22, 2010, American programmer Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas, paying 10 thousand bitcoin. Since then, the crypto community has been celebrating the so-called BitcoinPizzaDay.
The founder of the Litecoin cryptocurrency, Charlie Lee, on his Twitter page, reminded about the holiday and thanked Heinitz for his sacrifice "which helped start the adoption of bitcoin around the world."
