Elon Musk threatens to sue Microsoft over using Twitter data for its A.I.



On Wednesday, Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, threatened legal action against Microsoft, claiming the software giant had improperly used the social media company's data to train its artificial intelligence model.



In reaction to a post stating that Microsoft would stop supporting Twitter on April 25 across its online social advertising tools, Smart Campaigns and Multi-platform, Musk tweeted that it was "lawsuit time."

The Twitter boss alleged Microsoft “trained illegally using Twitter data,” implying the firm mined user tweets to help train its AI-powered applications.
