Google Cloud and Polygon Labs Partner to Boost Ethereum Scaling Protocol's Development



Polygon Labs and Google Cloud have formed a multi-year partnership, announced at consensus 2023, to support the development of tools and infrastructure for the Ethereum scaling protocol.



Google Cloud will offer its framework and developer tools to Polygon's core protocols, including Polygon proof-of-stake (PoS), Polygon zkEVM and Polygon Supernets, aimed at simplifying developer integration and building Web3 products and decentralized applications (DApps) on Polygon.



The partnership is expected to advance Polygon's zero-knowledge development, particularly with the testing of Polygon zkEVM's zero-knowledge proofs on Google Cloud, resulting in faster and cheaper transactions compared to existing infrastructure.
