Dizer Capital's Yasin Mobarak Predicts SEC to Drop Charges Against Ripple Execs

Yasin Mobarak, the founder of Dizer Capital, recently tweeted his prediction that the SEC will drop its charges against Ripple's top executives, Chris Larsen and Brad Garlinghouse. This forecast was made soon after Judge Analisa Torres, overseeing the SEC vs. Ripple case, revealed that the trial is set for April 23, 2024. This comes on the heels of the court declining the SEC's request for an interlocutory appeal.

It's essential to note that the trial pertains to the SEC's allegations against both Garlinghouse and Larsen. The SEC accuses them of indirectly aiding and supporting Ripple Labs in the distribution of XRP without registering it as a security. The executives are accused of acting negligently in this regard. The scheduled trial aims to address these allegations and is set to begin on April 23, 2024.
