U.S. Authorities Target Crypto Wallets in Clampdown on Fentanyl-Linked Transactions

Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo recently disclosed that digital wallets subject to sanctions were involved in transactions millions of dollars in multiple deposits. These funds were found to be associated with drug activities. The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) under the U.S. Treasury has imposed sanctions on cryptocurrency wallets believed to have connections with entities and individuals involved in production.



On October 3rd the U.S. Department of Justice brought charges against chemical producers based in China along with their employees.
